We hope that the exhibition, which we have been presenting at the Ludwik Zamenhof Center, enabled all interested parties to get to know Seweryn Nowakowski, one of the most outstanding local government officials of Białystok in the years of the Second Polish Republic.

How do we work on holidays?
We have the pleasure of inviting you to a number of events, lectures and concerts. This year, we celebrate the double anniversary of the 160th birthday of Ludwik Zamenhof (1859–1917) and the 100th anniversary of the establishment of a street named after him in Białystok (1919). We also remember that this is the 200th anniversary of the birth of Stanisław Moniuszko, which is why this accent appears in the program as well.
The pictures have been preserved in the form of several glass plates – heliographs. We do not know the history of this collection, we can only assume that it is a fragment of a larger collection of Warden’s documentation, done during larger and smaller meetings of Esperantists.
