Piotr Jamiołkowski
Painting is his passion from an early age. It gives him the opportunity to explore his imagination and has a therapeutic effect.
Piotr works in various art techniques: drawing, tempera, oil, and poster painting. During the exhibition in Białystok, we show figurative painting with intense, saturated and sophisticated colors with a distinctive expressive contrast. The works reveal subjectivism in feelings and the ways of their artistic expression, they have a large dose of expression.
Piotr Jamiołkowski takes up various topics: landscapes, portraits, still lifes. The appearing figures and animals are correlated with each other, in motion. The author clearly illustrates with a conscious resignation from presenting forms observed in nature, he exaggerates and even builds tension using deformation.
He lives in Sokoły – in a picturesque town on the edge of Podlasie, in Wysokie Mazowieckie county.
