Interactive and students activating classes introduce the history of Bialystok and bring closer the figure of Ludwik Zamenhof, the creator of Esperanto. We start with visiting the permanent exhibition "Białystok of Young Zamenhof", and then we invite the participates in the two classes previously picked from the list below:

Historical jigsaw
Sets of jigsaw puzzles based on unique photographs of Białystok from the 19th century. While solving the puzzles children learn about the history of the city, its monuments, and learn to work in a group.

Esperanto in action
Introduction to the history of Esperanto: what was its purpose? who was its creator? what is an artificial language? The practical part consists of learning words and phrases in Esperanto with the concentration game.

In the footsteps of Zamehof
A board game introducing important facts from the life of Ludwik Zamenhof and the history of Bialystok. Fun and competition consolidate knowledge acquired during the exhibition.

A postcard to Ludwik
If you could send a postcard to Ludwik Zamenhof, what picture of contemporary Bialystok would you put in it? Children's works are discussed and presented at the exhibition.

History is in the detail
