Emotions and skilful ways of expressing them are responsible for the order in the human psyche. People cannot express emotions because nobody has taught them. We get instructions on how to operate an oven, a vacuum cleaner, a car, and we do not get the instructions for a child, marriage. All relationships are based on emotions and skilful way of expressing them. Talking to your child about emotions is difficult, but you can learn how to do it. This is a very valuable skill. Given that many schools in the world are conducting regular classes about emotions, I think this book can be an inspiration to this.
