“Zol zajn” – these words are a metaphysical motto, that set the time of communion with Jewish music, poetry, culture, and religion...

Lyrics of the songs originate from contemporary Jewish poetry and old folk songs. Julia Makosz, author of the Yiddish dictionary and lecturer of the Jagiellonian University, watched over the language aspect of the project. The music with its trance and folk sound emphasizes the emotions contained in the lyrics. The songs, both traditional and contemporary, are performed with the accompaniment of musicians of the Piwnica pod Baranami.
