The seminar program:
10 am-12 am workshops for high school students' understanding of stereotypes "- apply records
3 pm-5.30 pm screening of the film "Tobacco, truth and Rummikub", after the screening discussion "Image of the Other in Poland"
6 pm-8 pm screening of the film "Back" and meeting with director Adam Zucker
What makes you not want to know another human being? Without knowing it we have strong opinions about him, often unjust, based on prejudice? We begin to judge him? Is ethnicity, culture and religion other than their own condition look the other person? If you want to talk about it are invited to participate in a seminar, during which we will talk to anthropologists, sociologists and historians about the current situation "Other" in the world. The starting point for discussions will be viewed during the seminar films and their own observations and experiences.
During the seminar, there will be workshops "Understanding stereotypes" targeted to high school students and anthropological films from the festival 35. NAFA (Nordic Anthropological Film Association) titled "Images of cultural diversity and heritage", organized on 21-26 September 2015 in Warsaw.
