Concert of one of the most interesting Polish singers Dorothy Miśkiewicz! This artist forever seeking, open to new sounds and musical experiments. Her hallmark is romantic, lyrical compositions, combining different musical genres. Elegant and modest, the scene is a charismatic singer, instant contact with the audience. Dorota Miśkiewicz will be accompanied by an outstanding guitarist Marek Napiorkowski. They will present songs like: Świerk, Nucę, gwiżdżę sobie, Tuńczyk, Ale, Suwalskie bolero, utwory z klasyki polskiej piosenki: Pokoik na Hożej, Lubię być szczęśliwa, as well as jazz standards, even You stept out of a dream.
Dorota Miśkiewicz
singer and songwriter. She has collaborated and toured, among others, with Cesaria Evora, Grzegorz Turnau, Tomasz Stanko, Nigel Kennedy, Vladimir Nahorny, Ewa Bem, John "Ptaszyn 'Wroblewski, Louis Winsberg and Stefano Bollanim. She has recorded four solo albums: "Stop," "Under the eyelashes", "Caminho", "BUT". The last album - "Lutoslawski, Tuwim. The songs not only for children "- recorded with the band Kwadrofonik, was certified gold and nominated for the Music Award Frederick.
Marek Napiórkowski
guitarist and composer. He has performed and recorded, among others, with: Pat Metheny, Marcus Miller, Richard Bona, Ivan Lins, Angelique Kidjo, Clarence Penn, Gregoire Maret, Sugar Blue, Urszula Dudziak, Leszek Możdżer, Ewa Bem, Wojciech Karolak. He has recorded four solo albums. By the readers of Jazz Forum magazine he has selected Jazz Guitarist of the Year 2013. He was co-leader of the group Funky Groove electricity that was twice recognized as the Electrical Team of the Year in a poll Jazz Forum magazine.
