Szymon Łukowski Quartet has been operating since long, but the artists associated with him for several years created a furore on the Polish music scene. In CLZ group will present a key global mainstream jazz. In this July evening on the terrace resound among others, works John Coltrane, Woody Shaw, Dave Holland and David Binney'a. The whole diversify unusual instruments - vibraphone and marimba - with a touch of "Bydgoszcz modification".
Simon Łukowski
saxophonist, clarinetist, composer. A graduate of the Music Academy. F. in Bydgoszcz (clarinet) and the Academy of Music. S. Moniuszko in Gdansk (saxophone). Winner of many awards, won m.in .: I place in the soloist category at the Blue Note Poznan Competition (2014), award for best instrumentalist XVI Review of Young Jazz and Blues Club Gdynia Sax (2013) and second prize at the Student Jazz Festival in Bydgoszcz Walking group Quartet (2009). He has performed alongside artists such as Jerzy Malek, Piotr Lemańczyk, Tyler Hornby, Cezary Paciorek, Marek Napiórkowski, Cezary Konrad, Krystyna Stanko and many others.
