The Artur Grottger Fine Arts High School in Supraśl in September 2014 years celebrates its 70th anniversary. Supraśl High School is one of the oldest art schools in Poland. Her story begins in Bialystok, just after independence. A significant event in the history of the school was renamed her in 1945 at the School of Fine Arts. In August 1946 years decree of the Ministry of Culture and the Arts School of Fine Arts was nationalized, making it a four-year high school students with the right recruitment after school, then to July 1950 years to rename it to the National School of Art Techniques as a vocational school, referring to the pre-war tradition industrial arts schools. Created so a five-year vocational school. In September 1959 the decision of the Provincial Council in Bialystok, the school was moved to its current location - The Buchholtz palace in Supraśl, where after a few years of its activity, namely in 1967 by the Ministry of Culture and the Arts is renamed the Fine Arts High School.

During these seventy years of existence the school continually transformed itself, changing its location, name, keeping, however, what is most important - the continuity of artistically gifted youth education. Improved the quality of teaching in relation to the traditions and history of the region drawing on its rich cultural heritage. In 1992, he created major - graphic design, and in 2008, specialization - photography with elements of the film.

As part of the graphics you will see linocuts, monotypes, intaglio and mixed forms. Presentation of the work aims to bring customers the classic graphic techniques and broadly understood graphic workshop.

In contrast, exhibited and broadcast: images, animations, videos, and intermedia projects, will show a wide range of interesting creative activity young students of visual arts at the same time bringing the character and atmosphere of the studio.
